ALISON PALMER
Alison trained as a Physiotherapist in London graduating in 1983. She gained valuable experience and knowledge working as a physical therapist in England, Australia, New Zealand and in the United States.
She became a Certified Orthopaedic Manual Therapist through the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy in 2003.
Alison studied with The Institute of Physical Art and in 2014 became a Certified Functional Manual Therapist®. She is very passionate about Functional Manual Therapy®, which is an integrated and holistic approach to physical therapy and she has been achieving excellent long term results with her patients.
More recently Alison has been studying Visceral Manipulation and Neural Manipulation through the Barral Institute. This has greatly enhanced her practice and allowed for a more in-depth treatment of the organs and the nervous system, to provide a multi systems approach to the body.
Alison lives in Ophir with her husband and daughter, and has resided in the Telluride area for 32 years. She’s an avid skier and mountain enthusiast who understands the importance of taking care of one’s body in order to maintain an active outdoor lifestyle and healthy mind.
